I am engaged in the analysis of nitric oxide-dependent signaling pathways in the cardiovascular system and the targeted therapy of hypertension and heart failure with active substances and drugs.

I am focusing on the analysis of nitric oxide-dependent signaling pathways in the cardiovascular system and brain. In vivo and in vitro experiments are carried out to analyze the molecular mechanisms of active compounds and new drugs and their impact on physiological and morphological alterations in the heart, vessels and brain. The study is currently focusing the targeted therapy of hypertension and heart failure with active substances and drugs bound to polymeric nanoparticles, which also have potential in the treatment of COVID-19.
