Oľga Pecháňová act as a principal investigator of the project.  The COVID-19 pandemic is a serious socio-economic problem. The aim of the project is to develop an appropriate non-infectious experimental model(s) for this disease that would allow rapid and safe testing of new drugs and thus contribute to improving the health situation of the economically active population and saving the lives of the most vulnerable groups. It would also contribute to a faster return of patients to the work process after their faster cure or by preventing the progression of the disease to serious conditions.
